I worked in partnership with the Business Head and I was a member of the Executive Committee, ensuring alignment between HR activities and business strategies.I worked closely with the HR teams in Portugal, Spain and UK in order to ensure delivery of quality HR service to Barclaycard Southern Europe employees and development of best tools to support the leadership team to achieve business goals.During this time I also worked as HR Business Partner for Managing Directors in other functions: Finance, Legal and Compliance, Operations and Technology. Most important projects were restructuring programs (headcount reduction) which were sucessfully completed (results according to target or above).Some of the main achievements while HR Head for Southern Europe Barclaycard business:• Integration of the employees coming from Citi, following Barclays acquisition of Citi Credit Cards business.• Support to the employees and line managers during implementation of employee self-service and line manager self service tools, as part of the global project of migrating to the HR Services model.• Implementation and management of expatriates, receiving in Portugal and Spain experts from Germany, UK and US.• Development of internal training programme: Cards Certification.• Adjustment to local realities and implementation of the learning global initiatives of Global Colleagues Curriculum e Global Leadership Curriculum.• Lauching the Global Values Recognition Portal.• Adjusted contents to local realities and lead the sessions of Power Hours e Manage Your Career.
