Rom spent his career innovating experiences, building products and tech businesses – some for large corporations such as Hewlett Packard or HID Global, some for his own startup companies. I find passion in problem solving through innovation, laying down strategy, designing, developing and then driving adoption of solutions that help make things better for people and corporations. Over the years I learned that simple, engaging and valuable experiences are some of the hardest to achieve and found that combining an analytical approach with a pinch of creative chaos and high energy, helps. Throughout my career, I always look for complex challenges that require leadership, creativity and tying together multiple disciplines in a team to get things done. I have had the chance to work on the world's first app-store projects in the age of WAP, building one of the very early cross platform user experiences. I got to collaborate on one of the first interactive TV content channels ever built, to innovate in the emerging IoT space and to create the world's smallest live-streaming wearable camera.
