Responsible for a range of projects including managing the development and implementation of an Electronic Prescribing and Eligibility System for the Department of Health, Social services and Public Safety in Northern Ireland. With an initial value of £7 Million, the project successfully met all deadlines and customer expectations.

Achievements included:Project manager responsible for the delivery of an internet-based Land Registration system for LRNI. Working closely with LRNI senior management and solicitor groups, John ensured that the project was not just delivered but accepted and used by the legal community. Project lead responsible for the selection of new system for NIHE and assisting and advising on business process re-engineering. Additionally, John was responsible for expectation management, tender evaluation, supplier evaluation and selection and finally contract negotiation.Working on the business transformation for the City of Edinburgh Council programme, identifying and re-engineering business processes, resolving issues with the delivery and project methodologies in use, and resolving conflicts within the programme management team. This assignment lead to a number of positive changes in the customer relationship and ultimately to contract renegotiation and a five-year extension.

Achievements included: Analyst/designer conducting customer workshops and producing design specifications for the Northern Ireland Courts Service. Responsibilities included the design of documentation solution, development and successful implementation of the application.Solution designer/business analyst working on the Northern Ireland Prison Service bid. Responsible for the business requirements, using knowledge of existing systems in other jurisdictions and assisting the technical design team by acting as the Oracle designers for the bid. John ensured the business deliverable schedule of the proposed contract met both customer and company requirements, and presented the solution to the customer board during the bid.
