A Development finance specialist with a focus on MSME, Social Investments and Banking, Microfinance and livelihoods, having working experience of over 35 years. Graduated in commerce with post graduation in Management and Law with a specialization in finance and mercantile law branch respectively. Started career in State Bank of India, a premier nationalized commercial bank in India, in 1982. Joined Small Industries Development Bank of India [SIDBI) in 1991. Served on Board and Advisory committees and provided leadership in various capacities in different institutions. Led the South Asia Resource team (SART) of CARE. CARE and was involved in providing technical incubation support to promote and develop nascent and emerging institutions for providing financial services and securing livelihoods in South Asia region.
