I am a double platinum award-winning composer with 20 years experience in the music industry locally and abroad. I am the co-founder of Sonic Gate Studios, a collective of multi-disciplinary artists from all over the world providing high-quality creative music and audio solutions for media. My work is often said to be unique and strong in melody and evidences a deep sensitivity for the “elemental” in visual storytelling. I specialise in composition and orchestration for film and visual media; score for ensembles and orchestras, create music commercials for radio & visual media, company music tag brand imaging, theatrical plays and produce albums. I was mentored by famed Hollywood orchestrators and composers and work with musicians all around the world. My musical style is drawn from my knowledge of:Western music (Piano, Vocal – Opera, Flute, orchestral performances) Indian classical music (Vocal – South Indian Classical, Veena, Sitar, Harmonium)and my upbringing in Malaysia, which exposed me to much Malay, Chinese and Indian music.
