As CEO of Burns Logistics, my role is to position our business for further growth by facilitating strong partnerships between our carrier clients and shipper partners. I am responsible for our day to day operations, business strategy, and company profitability. Our team is focused on creating a more resilient supply chain. We do this by reducing volatility in pricing and service levels in shippers' transportation networks. This is simply a matter of establishing the right carrier partners and matching freight networks so that everyone succeeds. I am honored to work with my dad and help him grow the company that he started when I was just a kid.

My job is to position Big Ed Burns and Burns Logistics as transportation industry thought leaders and build relationships. I worked primarily in marketing for several companies. This is where I initially learned about website development, graphic design, email marketing and using social media for business.I was also involved in local political campaigns, most notably serving as campaign manager on a county-wide race.
