Kripa is helping lead Straive's global team of SMEs build a more reliable, faster and cheaper way for our F1000 clients to productionalize AI. A role he took on after Straive's acquisition of Metonymize, the company he previously founded and led. Metonymize was recognized as one of the few teams doubling-down on Third Wave Artificial Intelligence (3Wai). The Metonymize team has 100+ years of experience on the cutting edge of Artificial Intelligence, building solutions with economics that are 10-100X better than "Big Data" reliant Machine Learning.As cofounder of Mintor (https://gomintor.com/) Kripa works with Leanne Viviers (of World Bank and Salsa Dancing fame) to help skilled young people get jobs. Kripa is inspired by the many thousands of Mintorns in Cape Town who are reducing the global Skills Gap, one placement interview at a time.Previously, Kripa was the cofounder of EY's Corporate Finance Strategy practice, and the group's lead Tech Partner. He led over 150 projects for the world's leading corporations and private equity investment funds, helping them with transformative growth planning, M&A strategy development, and business model diligence.In addition to his business experience, Kripa benefited from years of hands-on research and early-stage technology/analytics experience - (i) advanced signal processing platform design for Pulsar search at India's Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (ii) statistical pattern recognition algorithm and software development at RPI's Computer vision Lab (iii) Early stage product development and delivery with 3 startups (CG CoreEl, Sigmatel and Inductis all with successful IPO/Sale exits) Kripa is obsessed with learning, of both the human and machine variety. He enjoys time outdoors with his two daughters and his ex college-sweetheart - now wife. He gets grumpy without any one of these: his motorcycle, reading, philosophy, hiking, and meditation.
