About Remco Coppens

I am thrilled to introduce myself as a passionate Data Scientist with a background in Operations Management and Logistics. My passion for industrial processes can be traced back to my childhood, where my father worked at Philips and I grew up surrounded by discussions about their manufacturing processes. This upbringing fueled my curiosity for the inner workings of industrial/logistical processes.During my time at the Technical University Eindhoven, I combined my interests in Operations Management and Logistics with all the relevant Data Science courses available, in order to gain a well-rounded understanding of how data can be leveraged to improve business processes. As I worked towards my degree, I also freelanced in the field of Data Science to gain additional practical experience. This experience ultimately solidified my interest in the data domain, and I now focus solely on data-driven solutions to either improve business processes or solve actual business problems.My current goal is to approach data-intensive projects with a process oriented mind, in order to maximize the relevancy and applicability of the solutions I create. I believe that by understanding the processes that underpin a given problem, I can create more effective data-driven solutions that ultimately deliver tangible results for clients that will actually lead to real business value.I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and learning more about how we can work together to harness the power of data to improve industrial processes.
