SharePoint is for Océ the primary platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing. With the planned upgrade to SharePoint 2013 it was also set to become the platform for the new Intranet, Social Collaboration, Enterprise Search and People finding. Due to several company restructuring operations, shifts in personell and budget cuts the upgrade and implementation of new functionality had been delayed for almost two years. Being understaffed and missing some of the required knowledge to do the migration the collaboration team had become somewhat demotivated. With my addition to the team I brought in the required manpower, knowledge and insight to reboot the migration plans and start working on the team's ambitions. Within half a year we came to a stable, well designed 3 farm SharePoint platform, migrated 80% of the old functionality and delivered new functionality like Reporting Services, Enterprise Search, Onedrive.

At Electronic Brains I was responsible for maintenance and new development for the Point of Sales and beverage registration software that the company had developed.The primary language where we developed in was Clipper.

Elvia Travel Insurance, now part of Mondial Assistance Group is an Insurance company that also provides aid to travelers.To support the sale of their products Elvia provider resellers with a sales tool. My job was to translate requirements to functional designs and to develop the software.Due to the fact that Elvia did not have enough knowledge available in the area of systems management it became gradually more and more necessary for me to get involved in that area as well.

C.A.S. (later known as Caswell) was a small company where I started as an interm and later started my first job.There I developed software for companies in various branches. Amongst the languages that we used were : Microsoft Basic, C/ C++ and Magic. The company does no longer exist.
