After my study Business Economics and Information Science at the Erasmus University I started my career as a programmer with ABN AMRO. I have worked in Frankfurt and later on for ABN Amro International to set up a system for foreign payments. In 2000 I started working at Rabobank. I have worked on several projects at Rabobank. As a functional designer I have developed and designed solutions for payment systems to meet the international SWIFT standards. As a business analyst I have designed and developed solutions for the SWIFTNet infrastructure and the connection to the back-office systems of Rabobank and some other daughter companies. Furthermore I have knowledge and experience in the domains of payments, savings, finance, general ledger and reconciliation. As a System Engineer I have developed solutions for high valued foreign exchange deals (Continuous Linked Settlement). Last but not least I have acted in the domain of Quality Control. My primary focus was to embed reviewing of functional design, technical designs and source codes to the organisation. Since 2005 I have been involved in several Pega development initiatives for more than 4 to 5 years. I both like doing business analyses and Pega development work, I think Pega technology is building the bridge between business and IT. I have:- more than 15 years of ICT experience, primarily in the financial industry;- knowledge and experience with BPM (Business Process Management) and Workflow Management, Payments, SEPA, Claims & Investigations and SWIFT;- PRPC (PegaRules Process Commander), Java, HTML, XML, GUI Design, Cobol.I am:- driven and enthusiastic (hands-on);- high analytical and creative;- visual oriented and highly gifted;- innovative and strategist;- all-round (as programmer, tester unto business-analyst, process manager);- summary and detail.
