Director Of ContentReshift Digital Jan 2015 - PresentAs Director of Content and member of Reshift's Management Team, I'm responsible for driving business and content objectives for the Compare, Tech, and Photo clusters. Including the content, video en design teams. Some highlights:• Launched ID.nl, a new content platform for the Compare cluster that informs consumers about everything happening in and around their homes, with a focus on energy, climate, mobility, health, and consumer electronics. ID.nl is now helping hundreds of thousands of visitors each month, making it Reshift's most successful website launch to date.• Launched Zoom Academy and Tech Academy, both e-learning platforms offering paid courses in text and video to help learners acquire new skills. The cross-media mix of online learning, paper books, livestreams, and events made both platforms highly successful. Zoom Academy has now reached 62,000 paying customers, while Tech Academy boasts 32,000 paying customers• Established Special Products, a new department within Reshift dedicated to converting content into business. I developed and launched special products such as specials, books, digital products like online events and digital subscriptions. The targeted email marketing campaigns for our exclusive products have proven to be incredibly successful, resulting in increased revenue from our existing customer base. The success of our Special Products division has been instrumental in maintaining revenue streams without the need for risky investments in an ever-shrinking print market. We were able to stay ahead of industry trends and provide innovative solutions that kept us competitive in the market. I worked closely with our teams to develop new and engaging content, improve our digital platforms, and create new revenue streams that help drive the business forward. -

It was an incredible opportunity to work with Discovery Channel, even if it was just a side gig. Unfortunately, due to strategic changes, the magazine was eventually cancelled. Nevertheless, the experience and memories remain some of the most valuable and exciting moments of my career.

Zoom.nl is my brainchild, born on the back of a beer coaster at a bar and grown into the largest photography platform in the Netherlands today.Zoom.nl is unique with its innovative concept, offering a platform where passionate photographers can showcase their best work online. It was founded in 2004 and launched in 2005, a time when social media did not exist, and the connection with the magazine is what made it truly special. Every photo featured in the magazine was taken by a community member who uploaded it to the online gallery. Zoom.nl was a disruptor in the Dutch photography market and quickly grew to become the market leader.Through innovative commercial models and the successful Zoom.experience event held at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, which attracted 30,000 visitors over three years, Zoom.nl has remained successful and relevant to this day. This achievement is truly one of the highlights of my career, as it demonstrates how something that began as a simple idea in my head could grow into such a successful venture. -
