As Lead Solution Architect I was responsible for designing a complex, multitenant system capable of delivering high performant services to support critical business processes.

In the role of Software Architect I was technically responsible for one of the largest SOA implementations in the Netherlands for both development and operations.

New regulations in the Dutch Energy Market became an enabler for parties to modernize their IT landscape. These changes provided CGI with the opportunity to successfully deliver one of the largest SOA implementations within The Netherlands. I am one of the proud contributors to this success story which provided me ample opportunities to develop myself. Using my knowledge from the utility sector and the skills I acquired by facing challenges head on I was able to add value to both the clients as CGI.During this period I had different roles including but not limited to:• Application support• Technical Team lead• Software ArchitectProducts, Technology and methodes used:• Oracle 11g• SQL• PL/SQL• TIBCO BusinessWorks 5• TIBCO Silverfabric• Linux• ITILv3• Shell scripting• OpenLDAP• Jaspersoft• UML• ZABBIX

During this period I had the opportunity to add value for different customers in different roles. I was responsible for application management plus the realisation of small enhancements. For bigger enhancements I led a team of developers to realise the required functionality.Products, Technology and methodes used for these challenges include:* Oracle 8i* Oracle 10g* SQL* PL/SQL* Java (woodstock framework)* Javascript* Envox* ITILv3Most noteworthy were the systems Logica developed and maintained for a party in the Dutch Utility sector. These systems were used to support the critical processes allocation and reconciliation and gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of core processes executed by Distribution System Operators

For my final project Logica asked me to study the different process modeling techniques nowadays available. Using the best parts of these techniques I will make a concept methodology for making executable process models from non explicit described processes. Key aspects of this methodology is closing the gap between business and IT by focusing on Service Oriented Architecture and business processes
