Research trajectory within journalism, which was initiated and funded by Google's DNI to counter fake news. We have presented several insights to Google, but had to conclude that most digital solutions would not help to counter 'fake news', as it is more of an human and societal challenge, which unfortunately has only become a bigger issue in recent years.

As a solution architect (and temporarily as product owner) I worked on the ATOM project of Liberty Global. In collaboration with TriMM we developed a Pan-European platform, that is used to develop customer facing applications for the B2B clients of Liberty Global (Telenet, Virgin Media, Vodafone, UPC, Ziggo). Creating a strong consistent UX (User Experience) and high modularity are the main focus points, so that ATOM can be integrated within several brands and projects. Working from the digital architecture team within Liberty Global, I was working on the business solution architecture, customer validation and the functional design.

At LAB21 I gave advice to clients (B2C and B2B) who are searching for laminate, natural stones, PVC floors and wooden floors in Lab21's experience center in Delft. LAB21 challenged incumbents (like Gamma) with a focus on custom collaborations offline in stores, and more standardized orders via online channels, while leveraging centrally managed stock managed, delivered in the Benelux. Daily tasks:- Giving custom advice to meet the need of our B2B & B2C customers- Set up contracts and sign dealsTasks as a branch manager:- Responsible for the Delft branch- Managing the team and training new employees- Involved in marketing campaigns (SEO) and promotions- Actively advising the headquarters in Huizen, and occasionally work there.Tasks as a Lean Startup Consultant:Support the entire organization by giving strategic advice. Additionally I worked on the optimization of the after-sales service, customer service, coordination of logistic systems, supply chain management and gave support to make the webshop more attractive to customers, which in the end lead to a higher online revenue.Achievements:2012 Employee with the most sales2013 Employee with the most salesBy making use of the lean start-up method we developed a successful concept and a method of working in Lab21's branch in Delft. This method was later on deployed in the new branches.

Together with four other students I was responsible for the entire project and therefore we worked closely together all throughout the project.
