I performed various lab skills using sterile techniques in hoods in BSL 2 & 3 virus production labs while adhering to proper PPE with a Tyvek suit, hood and respirator. The techniques included seeding, passing, expanding multiple cell lines, and inoculating cell lines with infectious viruses. This was followed by harvesting the viral infections and analyzing the results with QC testing and TCID assays. I also carried out lab procedures such as proper disposable of material, making media for infections, ordering supplies and reagents and how to log and update data in spreadsheets.
