Art has always been my passion and I love bringing an imagination to life. As a Freelance Artist for 22 years, I’ve created illustrations for album covers, personal websites and more. I take care to understand my clients’ needs and deliver a finished product that is compelling to them.Additionally, I worked for Kaman’s Art Shoppes as a lead portrait artist, where I trained new artists to create portraits in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.I hold a BA degree in Media Arts with Computing Emphasis from University of California San Diego and learned from Concept Artist Ron Lemen.My technical skills include proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as familiarity with tablet-based drawing.For 9 years, I worked as a Quality Assurance Diamond Grader for the Gemological Institute of America. In this role I graded over 90,000 individual diamonds with a high level of accuracy, and trained junior graders in diamond grading systems and best practices.In addition to working as a grader, I completed Graduate Gemologist, Graduate Pearls, and Applied Jewelry Professional degree programs.Currently I work in the operations department at Tiffany & Co. which has helped me hone my organizational, communication, multitasking and customer service skills in a luxury retail environment.
