Working on this project as a backendengineer, I was exposed to technologies like Kafka, Kong Gateway, Docker,MSSQL, Microservice, and TDD alongside many others to ensure requests aresent securely to the appropriate microservices to carry out fast and seamlesspayment experience as well as create a detailed yet concise audit trail for eachsuccessful and failed requests.• I worked as the lead front-end engineer fostering development, deployment, andsupport on several internal and external solutions for the United Bank for Africa(UBA) group. Internal and user-facing solutions like account opening, customeraddress and corporate account verification, attendance tracking, and severalothers with each having a self-managed admin portal where activities arecontrolled.• Conducted meticulous code reviews, performed comprehensive unit testing, andimplemented performance optimizations.
