Managed the data collection phase of the evaluation by developing instruments, including interview guides and direct observation worksheets, collecting data using those instruments during visits to peacekeeping missions (MONUSCO, MINUSCA, UNIFIL, UNFICYP, and MINUJUSTH), a special political mission (UNVMC), and Secretariat entity offices in various locations (New York, Lebanon, Cyprus, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, and Haiti), and analyzing and quantifying the data collected for use in the final evaluation report.

Supported efforts to provide international law compliant justice services in opposition-held Syria, primarily by preparing proposals, conducting legal research, meeting with Syrian judicial actors, and drafting grant agreements. Acted as point of contact for support to three civil registration offices in Daraa province by building relationships with organizations working in civil documentation in Syria, developing policy and procedure documents to be used by civil registration centers in the province, and estimating monthly and annual activity budgets. Ensured that reporting requirements were met on a bi-weekly and quarterly basis and prepared budget forecasts for justice activities for submission to donors, including FCO and NEA.

Supported the planning and coordination of Justice Component activities by monitoring timelines, resolving issues, and ensuring the timely completion and closure of each activity. Developed concept notes and drafted donor communications and reports on Justice Component field activities. Liaised with beneficiaries on a regular basis to ensure that meeting agendas, minutes, and issues raised were recorded, relayed, and acted upon within the project as necessary.

Co-authored document discussing the different legal aspects of non-refoulement obligations for an Expert Meeting co-hosted by the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Global Migration Centre. Researched and co-drafted extensive report on the possible expansion of the principle of non-refoulement to include economic, social, and cultural rights to be used by the Committee against Torture in considering a new General Comment.

Worked with the Europe and Central Asia Section, Field Operations and Technical Cooperation Division to monitor human rights situations and prepare official submissions to treaty bodies, including the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women. Prepared briefing notes and statements on human rights conditions, including preparing briefing note and attending a bilateral meeting with the High Commissioner, represented the Section at stakeholder meetings, and drafted notes to file.
