In this role I was responsible for the correct presentation of real estate projects to the Board of Directors in order to make investment decisions. This was a joint effort with project managers. Projects have different phases of decision making. In some cases projects also have to be agreed by the Advisory Board.After hiring a permanent Business Controller, I switched to a role as Financial Controller where my focus was to improve the reporting on several aspects of the company (Power BI). Furthermore, I was involved in a business process redesign project, where the financial closing process was made more efficient which shortened the time needed. This lead to better and faster reporting. Lastly I was involved in setting up the reporting on quarterly KPI's for all departments.My final role was that of Corporate Controller, which is a role that obligated by law. This means an independent role next to the Board of Directors and reporting to the Supervisory Board. At first I combined this with the position of Team Lead Control, where I was leading a team of c. 5 controllers. With the hiring of a permanent Team Lead, I moved to the sole position of Concern Controller.

During my interim engagement the CFO has asked me to join Ampelmann on a permanent contract. I have structured the F&C department and expanded the team from 4 to 12 employees. Reporting to the CFO, in charge of the Finance & Control department. Focus on day-to-day activities, accounting issues, internal and external financial reporting, management reporting.Note that Ampelmann was fast growing (>50% per year, in 2015 increase in employees between 20-40 per month) bringing in a lot of dynamics into the business, which also needed to be managed on the F&C department.I was responsible for a 3 year conversion from Dutch GAAP to IFRS in 2015.
