About Remo Kavanal

Aspiring Electronics Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the electronics industry. The projects developed include ZigBee nodes, wireless transmission links, routers for Nurse Call Stations, audio and intercom systems, analog-to-digital interfaces, medical ventilator boards, automated tester for wiring looms and digital lock for security systems with biometric sensor. Actively involved in the testing and debugging including Design Verification Testing (DVT), hardware testing, software testing, testing of analog-to-digital interfaces, signal integrity testing, power rail testing. Recently graduated with a Master degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Microwave Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Photonics. Specialized in Advanced Computational Techniques. I like to test various computational problems as a hobby. My final year thesis involved establishing a communication link using light waves to demonstrate the effects of using a spatial light modulator (SLM) in preventing dispersion between different light modes coming out from a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL). VCSELs are preferred due to it's longitudinal mode of light propagation and high power and light output efficiency.Pursued and successfully completed a Master degree in Embedded Systems previously, due to my interest and passion in working with embedded systems, system development and electronic design. Successfully developed a ZigBee node device as part of my final year thesis. The node was demonstrated to work efficiently and communicate with other nodes in a router network. Bachelor graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering with industry-oriented projects done in object detection in noisy images using percentage occupancy Hit-or-Miss Transform, digital code lock system using PIC16F877A etc.I am passionate about electronics and would love to develop real-world systems with my expertise in electronic systems and product development.
