I lead corporate affairs across IPH Limited, an ASX-listed intellectual property services group with clients in more than 25 countries and working throughout ten IP jurisdictions. I am a part of the Marketing, Communications and Business Development management team and my team supports the Group’s growth ambitions by identifying, initiating and delivering solutions that protect and enhance our reputation.

In this role I was responsible for the public positioning of Squadron Energy, the largest renewable energy investor, operator and developer in Australia and part of the Forrest family private investments.

Led day-to-day management and coordination of all media activity for the firm and provided strategic advice, plans and practical support to the CEO, Executive Board and across the firm on corporate positioning, public affairs and issues management. My team were the guardians of the firm’s public image and played a key role in providing an organisation-wide understanding of the firm’s commercial and strategic aims.

Led corporate affairs for a range of PwC Australia practices, including banking and capital markets, superannuation, deals, business recovery services, infrastructure and urban renewal, defence, healthcare, education, cyber security, digital and innovation, new ventures, media and entertainment and energy, utilities and resources and agribusiness. Worked closely with leaders across the firm to develop and launch thought leadership, including the firm's annual CEO Survey, Federal Budget Insights, Major Banks Analysis, CityPulse Analysis and Media and Entertainment Outlook. Provided ongoing communications support and trusted advice to the CEO.

As an independent non-executive director of the Shaun Parker and Company Board, my responsibilities included assisting with strategic planning, contributing to organisational performance, and guiding and monitoring the management of the Company. It was a privilege to contribute to the Shaun Parker and Company Board and support an award-winning dance theatre company that creates and tours innovative and diverse dance works in Australia and Internationally.

Selected for the 2018 Observership Program, which provides education and practical experience in not-for-profit Board leadership. During the one-year program, I observed and participated on the Board of The Ethics Centre in a non-voting capacity while completing Australian Institute of Company Directors training in strategy, governance, risk, finance and ethics. The Ethics Centre is an independent not-for-profit organisation that has been working for over 25 years to help people navigate the complexity and uncertainty of difficult ethical issues. As a Board Observer, I attended all board meetings, the strategy day and annual general meeting and provided insights and advice on the workings of the Centre's business model, strategy and marketing and communications.

Led marketing, corporate affairs and digital strategy for the Clemenger Group of 50 companies in Australia and New Zealand in this newly created role, reporting directly to the Executive Chairman.

Advised clients including Macquarie Bank, Suncorp, Santos, Orica, Elders, Virgin Australia and Arthur Daniel Midlands on corporate and financial communications and social media. Developed and implemented effective engagement with investors, analysts and the media to support my clients to build visibility and credibility within the financial community. Delivered C-suite media training, public inquiries counsel, research, and issues tracking and management for key clients across a broad range of sectors. Completed a six-month secondment with Lend Lease Retirement Living as Communications Lead for their nationwide Contract Standardisation Project during my time in this role. The campaign was successful, with 95 percent of residents transitioning to the new contract.

Responsibilities included media and public relations, government relations and policy analysis, stakeholder management, social media strategy and management, content marketing and events. Developed and delivered recommendations to The Department of Broadband, Communications, and the Digital Economy (DBCDE) for The Media Access Review.
