Remund is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (DAME). Before joining DAME in 2020, he completed his MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in Arizona, USA. Before shifting his career focus to management and business, he spent most of his professional time in engineering design and power systems research. He also holds an MS in Electrical and Information Engineering from Seoul National University of Science and Technology in Seoul, South Korea, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from UP Los Baños.Remund was part of the Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps in the US. This fellowship program pairs graduate students with organizations aiming to meet their climate and energy goals. He was also an awardee of the Forward Focus MBA Scholarship from the W. P. Carey School of Business.With his management and engineering background, Remund is keen on exploring the intersection of agriculture, business, and technology to innovate and elevate the Philippines' agribusiness sector. Among his research interests are sustainable operations management, digital transformation in agribusiness, and product and service design and innovation.
