    While working on the project, Remy develops the archival strategies and best practices for primary and secondary source materials. Her primary research focuses on designing and developing the most effective archival processes and strategies for long-term hosting of documentation while ensuring the security, verification, and preservation of relevant documentation. She leads and facilitates collaboration between five external partner universities across multiple different time zones and continents. Simultaneously she is responsible for all public relations and communications and has drafted policy briefs for inter-governmental and non-profit groups, like the UN Human Rights Working groups. Lastly, she co-wrote and managed grants to receive over $250,000 of funding for the project in two years.

    Remy researched and wrote an extensive jurisdictional scan of the regulatory landscape of Canada and the EU regarding blockchain-based firms storing personal information. Peer Social Foundation is piloting a novel solution for decentralized digital identity and recruited Remy to determine how the team’s solution was situated in the wider policy ecosystem. She created user-facing content, in the form of blog posts and podcasts, explaining current socio-technical policy decisions. She responded to policy issues and challenges across departments within the foundation as well as handled user safety challenges and assessed vulnerabilities within technical white papers.

    Remy worked with a team, alongside the Nation, to create a resource guide outlining the major climate actions and commitments made within the Nation's traditional homelands. She conducted over 40 individual and group interviews as well as focus groups with stakeholders and rightsholders in the Nation’s traditional homelands. The resource guide included key insights from the interviews, a jurisdictional scan of the 15 local and regional governments within the territory, and best practices and policy recommendations. This project resulted in the completion of Phase I of Nation's climate action strategy.
