Obvously, the participation in the Model United Nations(MUN) conferences at Cambridge and Harvard also add to this. Members of UUMUN have been chosen on the basis of their social, intellectual and professional capabilities. By taking part in the UUMUN training sessions, professional and personal skills are further developed. The work done inside the committees and the social work taken on by UUMUN also adds to this development. As a member of team Public Affairs we'll keep in contact with non profit organizations such as the University Utrecht and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Atlas is the study association of the Utrecht University bachelor study Liberal Arts and Sciences. Atlas has around 300 members and 15 committees. Atlas' main goal is to facilitate Liberal Arts and Sciences students in their study by organizing symposia, selling books, giving study advice and recreation. As chairman I was responsible for public representation, external contacts and several committees.

The core of the LINQ concept are the LINQER's, these are entrepreneurial students with a large network. They are members of study, student or sport societies and in that network they actively search for students that match the qualities and work experience needed for LINQ's clients. LINQER's recruit, inform and plan students from their network for various jobs in the hospitality and service industry.
