I am the head of Therapeutic antibodies for inflammation laboratory at the Biomedicine Discovery Institute (Monash University). I am specialized in the discovery and optimization of new therapeutic monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of inflammatory disorders, metabolic disorders, and cancers with the ultimate aim to translate basic biological findings into clinical outcomes. My areas of expertise include antibody discovery against difficult targets (hybridoma technology; phage display), antibody engineering (antibody humanization; affinity maturation; Fc engineering; bi-specific antibody…) and preclinical disease models.
