I received my M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a CACREP accredited program, in December 2020. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado (LPC.0019047) and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapist (ISTT) through The Embody Lab. I have completed EMDR intensive basic training and am currently receiving consultation to progress to certification through EMDRIA. My primary therapeutic modalities integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems and the Structural Dissociation Model, Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, and Somatic Psychotherapy. I provide compassionate, anti-oppressive mental health and trauma therapy from a polyvagal-informed and attachment focused perspective. I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based modalities informed by neuroscience – such as EMDR and somatic psychotherapies – to help clients heal from distressing experiences and symptoms. In utilizing the brain/body connection and collaborating to create a safe therapeutic space, I have been able to work effectively with individuals who have been impacted by PTSD, complex and relational trauma, dissociation and dissociative disorders, incarceration, marginalization, eating disorders and body dysmorphia, substance and alcohol use, depression and anxiety, and grief.I am dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating all the identities and abilities, both marginalized and privileged, of the folks I serve by meeting folks where they are in their growth process and offering a compassionate & collaborative space to further self-explore and achieve personal goals.
