Hello! My name is Rena and I am a graduate student at WashU. I study inorganic/physical chemistry and my research involves the effect of ligand attachment on quantum nano material energy properties. I have a strong background in chemistry from Georgia Tech, where I graduated with high honors. There I studied ionic liquids and their use in super capacities, as well as assisting other materials related projects. I enjoy mentoring, learning, and seizing new opportunities for growth. I hope to one day work in industry where I can put my knowledge and skills to use, while also learn and improve as an individual.
