My path:I spent a few years delving into hands-on managerial experience where I interned as a stage manager for a local theatre company in Everett, WA. This not only gave my a passion for the arts, but showed me that management at any level demands a strong sense of leadership and empowerment. At Central Washington University, I focused on expanding and refining my writing skills with the English and Language Arts program for a couple of years. Not only did this take my writing to another level, but also helped immensely to improve my analytical skills. After that, I chose to further develop my sense of leadership and transferred over to the college of business. Now having specialized in Leadership and Management for three years, I am ready to bring my efforts to a fitting company. My passion:I have a passion for learning and for bettering myself; not only in the classroom, but on the job as well. It gives me pride being able to understand situations and tasks thoroughly, and to communicate with people in the correct ways at necessary times. I hold high expectations for myself in regards to my work, and my organizational and writing skills are some of my most prized talents.My Experience:Following the years I spent as a stage manager, my main job focus has been with retail and customer service. I've worked as a barista since I was seventeen, starting first in a business club. Since then, I spent three full years with CWU dining services working in a few different campus locations. I also worked simultaneously at Suncadia Resort as a barista for six months. I recently let go of my barista status however, and accepted a position as a bookkeeper for Les Schwab Tire Center in October of last year. This has given me a broader perspective in the customer service environment, and has developed my organizational and interpersonal skills even further over time.
