Renae has over 20 years of experience providing tax services to public and private companies throughout the West. After 15 years at Ernst & Young (“EY”) Renae joined KDP as a Tax Partner in 2022. During her tenure at EY, she supported clients from startups with no revenue to Fortune 5 companies with their tax planning needs. Her clients ranged across a number of industries with a concentration in consumer products and retail, technology, manufacturing, architecture, engineering and construction, and automotive. As partner Renae led the Portland office through tremendous growth and was entrusted to support EY’s largest clients.Renae received her Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University after which she joined a local Corvallis CPA firm. Renae transferred to Portland to obtain her Masters of Business Administration from Portland State University. Shortly thereafter, she joined the Portland office of Ernst & Young, LLP (“EY”) as one of the early members of the Tax Department.Renae is experienced in serving domestic and multinational companies with tax compliance and planning needs with a focus on project management. She advises clients regarding their research tax credit process, documentation and audit defense, capitalization, accounting methods and inventory, and foreign-derived intangible income deduction (FDII). Renae was born and raised in Oregon. She appreciates good food, particularly when it is paired with a delightful craft beer or locally grown wine. Renae and her family recently moved to Boise where they can reinvigorate their love of the outdoors.
