Worked on a both federal and industrial sites doing environmental work ranging from remediation to range closures. Federal sites were an assortment of military installations. Industrial included some large petroleum and pharmaceutical companies. Was the primary fieldwork person in my department and was in charge of coordinating some of our larger projects.

Worked on remediation projects on numerous environmental sites. Oversaw a variety of field work including drilling, excavating, well installation, groundwater sampling, underground storage tank removal, soil sampling, surface water sampling, and sediment sampling. Worked as a Whitewater Raft Guide bringing guests safely down river. Work at Zoar involved everything from customer service (fitting for gear, answering questions, and generally doing what could be done to make their outing a good experience), to making and cleaning up lunches to handling gear (PFDs, paddles, and heavy rafts).

Was introduced to field work and report writing. Projects at C&C focused mainly on commercial, industrial, and petroleum related sites, with a multitude of contaminants. Was responsible for the completion of countless Phase I Site Investigations. Began getting experience with underground storage tank removals, monitoring well installation, and sampling.
