I have an extensive experience as a Sound Recordist/ Production Sound Mixer and Sound Editor/ Sound Designer in the Brazilian film industry, collaborating with esteemed directors such as Cacá Diegues and notable figures such as Affonso Beato, renowned for his cinematography in some of Almodovar's films. I was also a professor at ABC Cursos de Cinema, a prestigious Brazilian film school (currently, I am responsible for the online course on Sound Recording for Film and TV). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music, complemented by both a Master's and Ph.D. in Sound for Cinema. Having recently relocated to the UK (my partner lives here, and I was finally able to join her), I am eager to immerse myself in the local community and contribute my skills to exciting projects. With my diverse experience spanning feature films, series, commercials, documentaries, institutional videos and independent films, I bring a versatile skill set that is well-suited for a wide range of production types. I am also a co-founder of Coletivo Tramoia, a film production and education collective composed of 80% LGBTQIAP+ individuals, non-white individuals, and indigenous individuals. Our collective promotes peripheral art and facilitates the inclusion of underrepresented groups in the Brazilian film industry.
