Software Engineer
CurrentSocarrao.com.br is a Brazilian online platform that focuses on facilitating the buying and selling of vehicles. The platform serves as a marketplace for individuals and dealerships looking to trade new and used cars, motorcycles, trucks, and other types of vehicles.- I've been working on the backend side of things, using Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js and Nitro.js. These tools have helped me make our systems stronger and more flexible, especially as we've moved towards a microservices setup. Plus, I've been using TypeORM to manage our data effectively in MySQL databases.- I'm pretty good at building and managing RESTful APIs with Node.js. They've been super useful in making sure all our different parts talk to each other smoothly.- I am always learning about the latest tech stuff. I have also been using Laravel, ElasticSearch, AWS, Javascript and Nodejs.- Lately, I've been diving deep into AWS. I've been setting up our backend infrastructure there, using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and more.- One cool thing I work on is Elasticsearch. Making queries, indexes, and GeoSpatial search. - I've also worked in data generators using Node.js on AWS Lambda. Generating over 60gb of files and storing it in AWS S3 in less than 10 minutes. Using Iterators, Streams and Worker Threads. It's been a game-changer in terms of reducing costs and keeping things running smoothly.- Oh, and I've been involved in hiring too! I helped find the perfect fit for a backend software engineer position focused on Node.js at SoCarrao. It was cool being part of building our team and be in the other side of the Tech Interviews
