I prepared financial forecast and budget reports for the manufacturing area, and later for the wind turbine construction business, being responsible for monthly and annual closings working actively with tax, treasury, and accounting departments.I ensured inventory control, including physical item counts, obsolescence rate calculation, and the scrapping process for the local tower and hub factory for wind turbines.I was responsible for Hedge strategy, providing security for all foreign currency exposures, maintaining strong coordination with procurement, accounts payable, and accounts receivable departments to ensure proper flow of new contracts, prepayments, or renewals of financial instruments. I also conducted monthly monitoring of MTM accounting and effectiveness reports.I participated in the carve-out process of the renewable energy business unit from Siemens LTDA to create Siemens Wind Power, a stand-alone company until the merger with Gamesa. In this process, I ensured the minimum financial cash flow for the company’s operation for 2 years until the full merger, and handled the opening balance with constant negotiations of values with Siemens LTDA's finance areas, ensuring accuracy in the numbers, adhering to accounting standards, and meeting all regulatory procedures.I was a key user of SAP, ensuring the correct migration of financial data for the creation of Siemens Wind Power and also for the data migration to Siemens Gamesa after the completion of the merger.I participated in and led harmonization processes between Siemens and Gamesa, ensuring a unified approach to revenue and cost recognition by adapting the financial process and creating or adjusting local procedures.
