Provided counsel and advise with regard to a vast array of labor and employment issues to International organization and its regional and local affiliates on matters including, but not limited to internal and external EEO matters (harassment and/or discrimination pertaining to race, gender, age, religion and national origin), Title VII, internal and external workplace policies and contracts, collective bargaining agreement interpretation and administration, company policy interpretation, collective bargaining, NLRB practice including unfair labor practice ("ULP") initiation and defense and representation (“R”) cases, strikes, lockouts, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, WARN, ERISA, HIPAA, OSHA, USERRA, and the FLSA.Counseled and advised International officers and administration employees regarding internal matters. Represented the International organization, its locals and members before federal and state courts, federal and state administrative agencies (including the National Labor Relations Board (NLRA), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Department of Labor (DOL), and numerous state Equal Rights Agencies, as well as before arbitrators and mediators.Conducted fact finding, depositions, witness preparation, and negotiated settlements.Prepared labor and employment course material and provided training relevant to the same.
