This also included review of the competitive context and deep market intelligence. Carefully kept European Aviation Network (EAN) story alive and consistent, using marketing to offset political/ legal challenges through a steady drumbeat of initiatives, including a 3 years crisis management programme.Managed an effective external communications strategy, establishing a plan for building the profile of Aviation with key influencer groups, supported by a range of proof points and a differentiating editorial style across a range of mediums. . Developed an annual event strategy to ensure clear outcomes for Aviation from both external trade shows and Inmarsat conferences. This also included the creation of Inmarsat’s most ambitious ever virtual event, FlightPlan, conducted during the pandemic aimed at maintaining leadership voice (+5000 viewers, +44% increase in online mentions for Inmarsat). Controlled and maintained the Aviation marketing budget (circa $3m) with clear objectives and reporting structures for lead generation campaigns.Worked with Digital Marketing Director to input to the development of the corporate website and manage and measure results of campaigns and social media reputation for the business unit. -
