About Renata Geld

More than 20 years in higher education. Researched and taught in the area of cognitive linguistics & applied cognitive linguistics, cognitive science, and language education - especially cognitive semantics, cognitive learning strategies, relationship between general cognitive processes & experience and how they are coded in the language of the blind and the sighted, multimodal meaning construal, strategic meaning construal, conceptual integration, multimodal communication, creativity and innovation, and the role of interdiciplinarity in (higher) education. Recently coordinated design and accreditation of the first graduate program in Applied Cognitive Science in the region. Co-founded and managed a private language school for more than 15 years.
