International Education • Interdisciplinary Education • Intercultural Understanding • Future of Work • Contemporary Public Art • After I obtained my bachelor in Engineering from Unicamp, I joined BankBoston Trainee Program in São Paulo. I built a 13-year career focused on international and capital markets, working mainly with foreign institutions around the world, such as banks, investment funds, pension funds and hedge funds. In 2005, I left the bank to start my own business. I launched, together with a business partner, Ziljewels Comércio e Exportação de Joias Ltda. Ziljewels was a brand of 18k gold accessories, Brazilian gems and contemporary jewelry aimed at the foreign market, mainly retailers in the US. After 13 years in the corporate area and another 13 years as entrepreneur, I realized that I had the interdisciplinary training and experience to support young people in discovering their passions and professional path. I was excited about the possibility of inspiring, mentoring and encouraging young people to pursue their dreams. Therefore, in January 2017, I launched Nau Educação Internacional (www.nauedu.com.br) to prepare and guide students seeking admission to American, European and Canadian educational institutions. I am also a volunteer consultant at Project Access International (www.projectaccess.org). At this organization, we aid brilliant and disadvantaged students to apply to world-class universities in the US and Europe. My professional trajectory has been guided by the premise of lifelong learning and a search for knowledge and interdisciplinary education. I also work as a researcher in Contemporary Public Art and in 2018, I completed my master's degree in Public Arts at Unicamp where I defended the dissertation “Poetic-political elements in the artistic production of Krzysztof Wodiczko”.
