Currently working part-time to run our "Compost and Food Policy" working group. Our group aims to advance and strengthen compost and food waste policies in the city of Long Beach, to help create a more sustainable and equitable city. Previously I served as organization representative on various food policy network groups (such as CFFN, CAFPC, FPCN).

Served as start-up director of communications to help craft and develop social media strategies, and aid in organizational development and sustainability.

Georeferenced and digitized historical maps for the CSU Monterey Bay's Hornbeck Collection of Early California Maps/ Disenos. Project goal was to address how historical development shaped riparian rights in the state, and how an understanding of this history could impact future infrastructure decisions to address California's future water security.

Performed spatial analysis of vacant lots in Long Beach to address the potential benefit of implementation of an Urban Agriculture Incentive Zone policy. (Policy passed city council was adopted in 2017.) I also mapped air quality indicators in disadvantaged census tracts for a grant that helped Long Beach implement programs aimed at environmental justice.

Worked on several large contracts. Responsibilities were mostly editorial or production related.

Coaches provided specialized tutoring for a particular section of a class. Coached Intermediate Algebra for one semester and two sections of Introduction to Biology for the remaining semesters. Job involved curriculum design, lesson planning, interacting with students, and interacting with instructors.

Taught aesthetics students, cosmetology students, and designed curriculum for the aesthetics program.Involved the same teaching responsibilities as my job with Dermalogica, but curriculum design and state board knowledge were also required of my position.
