Drive Oncology development market approach strategically and operationally:◦ Provide development strategy and guidance to the sales and proposal teams in evaluating opportunities, developing effective trial strategies, and submitting competitive proposals.◦ Monitor and provide senior management with updates on scientific trends and changes in development strategies as well as future prospective challenges and advances.◦ Build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners such as senior drug development experts, future/existing clients in Biotech and Pharma sector, patient advocacy groups, key opinion leaders, site networks, key vendors, professional organizations.◦ Provide leadership oversight of Oncology studies and partnership, including participation in client governance structure.◦ Collaborate with functional department leaders and contribute to the business plan at both the tactical and strategic levels, providing expert clinical development leadership, knowledge, and operational expertise to help drive sales and operational goals.◦ Maintain business plan for Oncology division, by providing key focus areas based on industry trends and corporate experience.Participate in initiatives to showcase Company’s development expertise through marketing efforts, publications, white papers, conference attendance and presentations, webinars, and bid defense meetings;Lead key Oncology development department initiatives to help build internal capabilities and efficiencies with processes and systems;Provide direction within the department in the mentoring and performance management of the staff;Help ensure execution of cross-functional and global corporate goals; Oncology Development Center Leadership responsibilities
