I am a solution driven, social and environmental impact consultant with a background in environmental engineering. I am a founder of Brownee - Sustainability in the baking: a climate tech platform that is helping connect small to medium business with sustainability solution providers. Prior to Brownee, I worked as a manager at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), a nonprofit "sustainable business network and consultancy focused on creating a world in which all people can thrive on a healthy planet". I supported members on their sustainability journey whether that be developing strategies to implement the recommendations of the TCFD and enhance business resilience through climate scenario analysis and planning, facilitate important conversations with leading global firms around human rights and worker welfare in the engineering/construction sector, or conducting impact materiality assessments to identify companies ESG focus areas and strategy development.Prior to joining BSR, I worked at the Robin Hood Foundation, NYC's largest foundation that aims to measurably and sustainably lift New Yorkers out of poverty. With a strong focus on data-driven solutions to complex social problems, I worked across Robin Hood’s portfolio of community partners to think through some of their toughest challenges related to real estate, communications, fundraising and strategy to help them develop, pivot, and grow, allowing them to increase programmatic capacity, revenue and ultimately serve more of the most vulnerable New Yorker’s. I have worked as an environmental engineer overseeing some of NYC’s coolest construction projects including Hudson Yards and the Greenpoint waterfront and have over 8 years of environment engineering experience in both Australia and throughout northeast America. I was on the board of Engineers Without Borders for over 6 years and have volunteered with many other mission driven organizations in Australia, America, India, Uganda, and the Philippines. I am passionate about the environment, climate change and sustainability as well as helping to better the lives of people living in poverty, domestically and abroad. I love traveling to the ends of the earth and can proudly say I have been to all 7 continents. I currently live in Sydney, Australia after spending 12 year living in Manhattan, New York with my husband and two sons. When I am not working, I am out and about enjoying everything this city and the surrounding nature has to offer!
