In this initiative a Sports Complex Management application was developed throughout 6 months in partnership with ARMIS Group, using a Scrum Methodology integrated with JIRA and Sprint reviews every 2 weeks with the client.The core of the application was developed primarily in Java, along with a web user interface for BackOffice, FrontOffice and a mobile FO version built upon Vaadin, an open source java framework. This project also includes Access Control for facilities, developed in C, that connects securely with our application to allow or block access to the former, connecting through REST services to the main application and through TCP/IP connection between Access Control applications, with a Python script to scan QR Codes.The 8-element group implemented about 45,000+ lines of code and 350+ tests. This was showcased with a Raspberry PI acting as Gate, reading QR Codes and communicating with a Linux machine acting as Controller which would itself communicate with our Core Application on another machine.
