Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Brocade's Python Test Automation solution used in the production of Brocade systems. This involves working directly with the Test Engineering, Diagnostics and New Products Introduction teams through the early phases of the design, bring up, and mass production cycles.

Lead designer of test plans for hardware verification of IP products used in the research of Content-Centric Networking (CCN).

Responsible for the introduction of performance metrics for the packet-optical line cards and characterization of their behavior on large systems compromising of thousands of Ethernet transport services (Carrier Ethernet 2.0). Design and implementation of typical network scenarios to simulate the necessary conditions to stress the packet-optical line cards. Expand the Python test framework to automate the provisioning and testing of large systems.

In charge of creating the test plans for hardware verification of multiple Tellabs products, from optical network terminals to carrier-class routers. Development of test platforms (HW and SW) for complex printed circuit board assemblies. Execute the corresponding failure analysis and manage the corresponding project schedules. Co-develop a new modular test framework using C# to enable the migration from sequential testing to parallel testing, effectively reducing the test time and costs of manufacturing.

Automation of functional and system tests for packet-optical transport switches in .Net. Integration of different test applications into single test software platform using C#, allowing a faster development of new test solutions for legacy edge routers. Upgrade of test systems for the multi-service access platforms to enable quality certification. Development of several software tools in C# for debugging and failure analysis to minimize human error.

Responsible of the new design and maintenance of several web sites for the School of Science & Tecnology.

Teaching several undergraduate courses in telecommunication systems and manufacturing technologies.

Technical leader during the deployment and acceptance test period of the Broadband and Access Network for the biggest operator in Peru. Deployment and post-sale support of systems for CDMA 3G-1X wireless networks, also for EVDO and CDPD wireless networks. Technical support of ATM, Frame Relay and IP carrier-class switches, also Network Access Servers and Access Concentrators. Deployment of management systems for Mobile Switching Centers in Peru and Venezuela. Honored by a Lucent Recognition Award for training 150+ employees in basic data technology around Latin America and USA.

Help undergraduate students with their course work and laboratory sessions in areas such as digital communications, technical drawing, and manufacturing technologies.

Responsible for the maintenance of a SCADA system used for OA&M at the Network Operations Center (NOC) of the first national wireless network in Peru.
