Development of Buy-out tools. Daily discussions with the team in China about definition, validation, improvements and documentation. I´ve launched two small grinders and a floor cutting tool in this work format.I´ve worked as designer engineer for the new Bosch marble saw. The innovations related with this project provided me a patent.I´ve developed an impact drill with the same cost as the impact drills made in China. To do this, I´ve developed a new product concept which was compact, strong and had less components than the previous one (consuming less raw material and reducing its ecological impact). Achieved the target cost with these modifications and I´ve received two patents. This project is a reference for low-cost impact drills in Campinas.I´ve optimized the small grinders platform, reducing the number of components by 10% and reducing the complexity of the tool assembly. All components were developed in closely with the suppliers in order to take advantage of their manufacturing facilities and reduce the final product costs. This was the first project done with agile development at Bosch Campinas.I´ve developed a product platform. This project initial scope consists in 5 product families release which, after several additional launches, results in 77 product variations. The development was done in partnership with the Chinese plant, with both location teams working on the same project basis, but considering each one installed manufacture lines. I´ve also implemented, at the same project, the first power tool with embedded electronics in Campinas. Nowadays, these projects are sold in Latin America, Europe and Africa. I´ve had two more patents with this project.In addition to my projects work, I have a role in guiding the new engineers in the department. I´m also the contact point for product engineering, systems engineering and reliability subjects.Regarding reliability, I have the title of specialist in reliability, after working for 2 years at Bosch.

Indaiatuba, Brazil

I was responsible for the development and localization of all components related to the operator's cabin, plastics and decals of wheel loaders and backhoes. I´ve worked with these activities from the period prior to the implementation of the Indaiatuba factory, until the period of serial production. All these components were developed in collaboration with quality, purchasing, manufacturing, marketing, after sales and the supplier base.My daily activities were: engineering changes, new concepts development, studies and implementation of cost reductions, follow-up of internal and field tests, definition of product validation requirements, BOM creation, active support to manufacturing and support to the field team.I had daily interface with other John Deere plants. With the USA plant, I performed development alignments, new concepts discussions, components implementations and general validations, once that the engineering center at the time was in the USA. With Indian team, I had a daily interface regarding CAD models developments, concepts validation and systems updates.During this time, I´ve two international experiences. At the first one, I´ve monitored and guided (according to Brazilian BOM) the production of cabins which would be sent to the Indaiatuba factory, I was responsible for the success of this production and shipment. At the second time, I´ve introduced myself and participated in the discussions, supplier´s visits and conceptualization of the new line of cabins to be implemented worldwide by John Deere. Additionally, I´ve checked the homologation of components in the company's technology center.
