As Amy's subject matter expert on sustainability, I am responsible for measuring, managing, and improving Amy's direct impact on the planet. Including:• Managing Amy's energy procurement strategy and renewable electricity roadmap• Supporting Amy's renewable packaging strategy and implementation• Improving environmental resource efficiency (energy, water, & waste) through identification and deployment of capital and behavioral strategies • Managing regulatory and voluntary environmental compliance• Maintaining Amy's greenhouse gas assessment and related improvement targets• Participating in NGOs and industry sustainability working groups in energy, waste, and packaging

I head up the corporate sustainability program at Amy's Kitchen to ensure we operate in a way that is consistent with our values of serving food with integrity, supporting the people and communities we touch, and reducing our impact on the environment.

I worked with large public and private multinational companies across numerous industries including CPG and other manufacturing, energy and materials, real estate, construction, publishing, and healthcare. My clients have included The Coca-Cola Company, Wrigley, Procter and Gamble, Walmart, Duke Energy, Pacific Gas and Electric, Vestas, FedEx Kinko’s, Allstate, Rodale Publishing, Hunter Douglas, Johns Manville, Grosvenor, Cherokee Investment Partners, Forest City, the State of New Mexico, and Kaiser Permanente among others.

I spent two years employed as a senior strategist on the Saatchi & Saatchi S consulting team. My engagements helped organizations understand their environmental impacts and opportunities and develop practical, innovative, cost effective action plans for addressing and communicating them. During my time at Saatchi I worked with multinational companies across numerous industries including CPG and other manufacturing, energy and materials, real estate, construction, publishing, and healthcare. In addition to performing assessments of organizational performance on sustainability metrics, I led the development of client specific strategies to increase operational and supply chain efficiency and communicate these improvements to internal and external stakeholders.

I was a manager for DOMANI where I played a broad role supporting the energy, carbon and greenhouse gas (GHG) management, strategic sustainability services, and green building teams. While at DOMANI I focused on market solutions to environmental challenges, integration of sustainability into business practices, marketing and branding of environmental performance, energy policy and renewable energy market development.

Board member and chair of the University of Colorado Environmental Board which advocates for campus environmental policy and oversees the budget, activities and programs of the nation's largest student-run environmental center.

I was the first Argosy Whole Systems Fellow at Rocky Mountain Institute where I helped create an innovative, utility focused carbon management and GHG policy scenario planning tool which helps utilities forecast the effect of future GHG regulation and costs on infrastructure planning.

Researched and created a sustainability education module for CDPHE and other state of Colorado employees.
