Responsibilities: Drafting and vetting of various agreements such as lease agreements, suretyship agreements, resolutions, offer to purchase, sale agreement, non-disclosure agreements, letters of demand, cancellation letters, acknowledgement of debt agreements, mandate agreements, employment contracts, facilities agreements, service level agreements, property management agreements, compliance agreements; Overseeing leasing procedure, property management procedure, compliance procedure and ensure enforcement of such procedures and contracts; Negotiate lease agreements with prospective tenants (retail lease agreements, commercial lease agreements, triple net leases, industrial lease agreements).  Ensure compliance with relevant legislation which is applicable on the specific industry;  Ensure that all master agreements used by the company is updated in accordance with the latest legislation; Review and analyses reconciliations and settlement proposals – work with portfolio managers to obtaining the best possible settlement proposal for the portfolio; Support the company and its clients with legal advice generally in all spheres of law; Identify, manage and monitor legal and compliance risks within the company; Ensure that adequate processes are designed and implemented to comply with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements; Draft, negotiate and review of all agreements and legal documentation prepared for the company; Negotiate suitable settlement agreements with parties on various areas of dispute; Be instrumental in achieving beneficial contractual commitments in line with corporate strategies; Effectively manage and attend to contractual amendments; Take responsibility for contractual risk assessment and monitoring of contractual completion; Assisting with implementation of leasing relationships from a legal perspective; Provide internal training to employees of the company in respect of new legislation or compliance issues.

Responsibilities: Drafting of lease agreements; Perform ITC (credit) searches on all prospective tenants; Represent the Company at the CCMA;  Draft template agreements to be used by the Company; Processing of legal fees from external attorneys and arranging timeous payment; Provide legal advise to the company in respect of compliance or risk related issues; Identify, manage and monitor legal and compliance risks within the company; Review all agreements and legal documentation prepared for the company; Negotiate suitable settlement agreements with tenants; Attend to vet all outside contracts and propose amendments accordingly; Take responsibility for contractual risk assessment and monitoring of contractual completion; Assisting with implementation of leasing relationship; Assist with due diligences and competition commission applications in respect of acquisitions and/or mergers.

Responsibilities:  Management of files, consultations with clients and advocates; Drafting and reviewing of contracts; Drafting of pleadings, applications and heads of argument; Attending to pre-trial conferences; Attending to pre-arbitration conferences;  Attending to CCMA conciliations and arbitrations;  Magistrate Court and Labour Court appearances.

Responsibilities Administration of estates, general litigation and management of own files; Magistrate Court appearances; Attendance of Immovable Property Auctions; Consultations with clients and advocates; Service and filing of court documents.
