Provided clinical supervision to trainee and interns.

• Conducts intake and continuing assessments of CALWORKs eligible clients• Develops treatment plans (Transitional Care Plans) for clients.• Provides counseling services for clients• Timely clinical notes and documentation of treatment progress with MediCal standards of care• Provides case management services, group rehabilitation, and individual therapy.• May provide in-home or office crisis intervention services• Records services, maintains client files, completes monthly activity reports.

René is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with a Master of Science degree in Counseling Marriage, Family and Child Therapy. Through individualized support, René is committed to passionately helping each client discover their internal strengths and resources available to face each personal challenge. She provides skillful and compassionate support at each session and believes that the therapeutic setting a safe place to experience healthy relationships and personal growth. René is an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.

Worked with individuals with dual diagnosis providing case management, therapy, and supportive housing related to maintaining independent housing at the lowest level of care.
