In addition to Office Management of a busy clinic, worked closely with the Finance Department -- including monthly invoices and payments to up to 60 hourly clinicians, working with the Administrative Assistants at other locations to ensure all invoices are correct and Clinicians are paid on time and accurately.Very successfully plan and organize all Christmas and Summer corporate parties -- from finding a venue, to deciding on the menu, preparing invitations, tracking all RSVP's and food preferences, and arranging entertainment for the party. Have planned and organized numerous "Lunch & Learn" events at the Management office.Interviewed and trained new Administrative Assistants.Work alongside the Clinical Director. who is the head of the Residency Program, as well as the HR Manager regarding new Health & Safety program.

Complete supervision of a 10-office, 19 psychologist and psychotherapist practice, including:-ongoing contact with clients, many of whom are in distress-overall organizational support to Managers of a busy clinic, with particular emphasis on communication & scheduling-making and keeping track of appointments, as well as "juggling" appointments according to priority and need-billing clients and collecting fees, bookkeeping to trial balance-organizing, coordinating, administering & attending numerous workshops and seminars-sourcing suppliers, keeping all office supplies up to date-pre-screen & direct incoming telephone calls-inputting & editing a book written by two of the partners, including all formatting, spell-checking, grammar & syntax, editing final version, assisting with sales and promotion of book-computer literate in multiple platforms

Built from concept, construction and, finally, operation, a do-it-yourself and full-service dog grooming, retail, dog-sitting, frozen pet food business.

Started business to help companies and executives who had an overflow of work, or who didn't need full-time help, or needed help but didn't have an office. Grew the business and eventually had 2 staff. I specialized in therapists, doctors, accountant, lawyers, as well as art consultants, business consultants, journalists.

Helped to open and set up their Toronto office when the company expanded from Montreal. Besides complete office management, also assisted in research, pre-interviewing candidates, writing large display ads for newspapers, preparing a quarterly newsletter that was distributed to Organization members around the world.
