As an undergraduate at Amherst College, I pursued a double major in English and French, while also continuing to do work in statistics and math. My digital project builds an online repository for Carifesta materials and uses interactive tools, sounds, and visualizations to tell the story of the festival in an immersive way. I am open to academic and non-academic career options, and upon completion, I hope to use this project as a key component of my portfolio, in addition to more traditional academic publications.In addition to my academic work at Yale, I have experience as an editor, freelance copywriter, translator, museum docent, and language tutor.
