Westpac – Scrum Master for the Infrastructure Squad / Telco Squad / Coach for three other Squads• Facilitate team lift-offs, Agile 101 sessions, define project Vision and Scope, Team Purpose, Working Agreements• Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives, backlog grooming meetings, stakeholder meetings, and software demonstrations.• Protect the development team from outside distractions, impediments or team conflicts, and maintain focus on product backlog and sprint timelines. • Work closely with the Product Owner and the team on backlog management and continuous delivery of features, Proof of Concept, Minimal viable product, and promote our work to the wider Technology community• Educate and reinforce scrum methodology and the agile framework to team members and key stakeholders.• Coach the team from project initiation through delivery of final product/functionality• Coach the team in continuously becoming more effective as individuals, and as a team• Work closely with other Squads to manage dependencies, that have often been identified during quarterly planning events conducted as part of the Scaled Agile Framework• Ensure the team work on back log items that link back to the Bank’s overall goals• Actively involved in the Westpac Scrum Master Community of Practice. Mentoring those interested in joining the Scrum master practice• Coaching three Squads as they are adopting Agile practices
