Leads a specialized cadre of personnel assigned to multiple subordinate organizations providing innovative and agile base operating support to the nation’s premiere remotely piloted aircraft combat wing. Served as the Senior Enlisted Leader and principle advisor to the Group Commander and other senior staff on all matters affecting operations, training, readiness, health, morale, welfare, discipline, and effective utilization of the organizations 725 assigned military, civilian, and contract employees. Directed a myriad of critical installation support operations with an annual budget of $55M to provide civil engineering, communications, contracting, logistics, personnel support, and base law enforcement services in support of global remotely piloted aircraft operations.

Led Joint Base Charleston’s most diverse organization comprised of 330-joint personnel, Air Mobility Command’s sole seaport, railroad, and Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP) team supporting the Department of Defense’s largest multi-modal cargo hub. Served as the organizations Senior Enlisted Leader and principle advisor to the Commander; responsible for the morale, welfare, readiness, development, sustainment, and career progression for all assigned military and civilian personnel across 2-geographically separated installations. Directed 6-logistics functional areas; Traffic Management, Ground Transportation, Vehicle Management, Fuels (POL), Logistics Plans, and Materiel Management in support of 3-Wings, 60-mission partners, 44 C-17 Globemaster aircraft valued at $9B.

Led a combined workforce of military and civilian Major Command Functional Area Managers that serve 7-logistics functional areas, which include Traffic Management, Ground Transportation, Vehicle Management, Aerial Port, Fuels, Logistics Plans, and Materiel Management. Skillfully coordinated personnel/equipment deployments for 97 organizations across nine Air Mobility Command installations, led deliberate and adaptive planning, and executed global mobility operations to support Combatant Commanders, National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA), humanitarian, contingency, and wartime operations. Responsible for coordinating and deploying logistics support for the President and Vice President of the U.S., Secretary of Defense, Secretary of State, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff travel around the world.

Directed a combined workforce of 132-military/civilian personnel from 4-career fields operating from 12-specialty maintenance and fleet management duty sections. Managed Air Combat Command’s (ACC) largest vehicle fleet consisting of 2K+ vehicles and equipment valued at $165M, supporting 6-Wings, 4-Major Commands, and the 2.9M acre Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR). Managed $2.2M Operations and Maintenance budget and controlled 56K+ shop tools and equipment worth $3M. Established production/priority goals and analyzed data to ensure efficient/economical vehicle repairs and utilization.

Led, trained, and mentored 495+ basic military training recruits annually. Transformed enlisted recruits from civilian citizens to American Airman prepared for any challenge. Instilled discipline, Air Force core values, instructed an academically certified curriculum, and ensured all enlistees gained necessary skills required for military service. Served as Instructor Supervisor at Basic Expeditionary Airman Skills Training (BEAST). Responsible for the oversight of 9.5K trainees annually. Led 10-instructors responsible for teaching combat survivability related principles and basic Law of Armed Conflict.

Led vehicle maintenance and analysis technicians in the inspection, repair, maintenance, and data analysis of military vehicle fleets at various duty locations around the world locations. Managed workload, determined most efficient and economical use of government vehicle fleet assets, determined best repair method, quality control inspections and ensured accurate documentation. Assigned work to junior employees based on priorities, difficulty of assignments or capabilities. Reviewed, analyzed, and maintained data on fleet vehicles in an automated fleet management systems. Answered inquiries from and provided assistance to fleet customers and vendors. Collaborated with customers to identify and assess vehicle requirements. Researched and analyzed fleet operations. Utilized fleet data to prepare and present transportation reports on funding requirements and develop point papers, reports, and informational and decision briefings for government senior leaders. Ensured operations are accomplished in compliance with the transportation safety manual, procedures, regulations, and all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
