IT hands-on manager and technology architect responsible for the daily operation and health of SYHC’s network infrastructure (Voice and Data) – 900 users network, 25 sites. Actively involved in strategic planning with Executives, Directors and Managers as principal technology advisor. • Collaborated with Grant writers to submit Federal, State and County grants. Supported organizations like State of California, UCLA, SDSU (Research Program) and Scripps Hospital in multiple technology projects.• Technical Lead in multiple construction and renovation projects funded by Federal and State grants (including large clinics - 25000 sq ft buildings), reviewed floor plans, subcontractors management, network infrastructure and data connections design, ergonomic workstations setup, City and legal requirements.• Reviewed systems support contracts from the technical perspective in collaboration with SYHC’s Director of Contracts.• Supervision of daily Helpdesk operations including weekly reports to upper management. • Planned, designed, implemented and supported a network infrastructure involving of Cisco routers and Catalyst switches, VPN access, Cisco ASA’s 5510 with CSC-SSM modules (Web/Email filters).• Managed vendors and contractors business relationships (i.e. COX Business, MFD’s business partner). • Implemented and supported Windows 2003/2008 and UNIX AIX servers and their network related services (i.e. AD, DHCP, DNS, applications)• Designed, implemented and supported VMware VI 3.5 and Vsphere infrastructure (including HA,DRS and VMotion services)• Designed and supported a 50K calls per month VoIP call center with CMS reporting.• Supported multiple SQL servers (SQL 2005 and 2008), Exchange 2003 servers and Barracuda/Veritas BackupExec for backup solutions
